The Province of Madagascar (MDG)

In December 2006, the Province of Madagascar had 145 priests, 76 scholastiques and 47 brothers; thus a total of 268 members. Among them 217 live in the Province itself and  51 outside the Province. But 9 companions from other Provinces work on the Great Island. The number of  novices is 26. For more information regarding the numbers of Jesuits in the Province click here

Three members of the Province are Bishops: Philibert Randriam Bololona (emeritus);  Fulgence Rabelony in Toliara  and Fidélis Rakotonarivo in Ambositra.
